Most cameras can take panorama photos. But what about a panorma you can walk around in? The Scene Modeling feature captures detailed 3D meshes of large environments. The output is a structured, color polygon mesh. And you can adjust the polygon count. Export to .ply, .obj, or .xyz.
Use scene modeling to capture all the surfaces in a room or scene. Scene Modeling can capture large spaces up to 1,000 square feet, without slowing down or losing accuracy. The models are optimized on the fly to correct for camera motion and ensure consistent layouts.
Remember the first time you used a video camera? You didn't exactly need instructions. The Lynx A is the same way. Press record and a model forms on the screen. Improve the model by passing over it again or keep moving to extend the model. It's just like a point-and-shoot camcorder. You can even rewind to "undo" parts of the model.
Image your friend's kitchen for inspiration. Take measurements of crown molding. Capture sets for previsualization. Or create vivid 3D walkthroughs. Whatever your goal is, the Scene Modeling feature can make it a lot easier. And the models are compatible with most workflow applications.
